Hi, I am Maria and I run Treasures for Angels. We are a craft business where scrapbooking, craft products and projects have now completely overrun the house and garage.

Anything crafty has been a passion for me since childhood and has often remained unfulfilled or unfinished (gulp!) due to other commitments. After having our first beautiful baby boy in December 2004 and a rethink of my life and priorities, I decided to start this business and made a commitment to having fun and being creative at my work.

Where did the name come from?

"Treasures" means to me all that we treasure in our lives and the most valuable of all are our memories, emotions and experiences thoughout our lives. This is a great legacy to leave those we love and scrapbooking is a fantastic, creative and fun way to achieve this.

"Angels" is named after my mum, whose name is Angeliki. I love her very much and miss her as she lives in Sydney. She is a wonderful strong woman who has undergone so many experiences in her life that I could not imagine going through. She has undergone a lot of hardship in recent years with ill health but continues to be a postivie influence on us.
